Biochar production training in Mozambique

A biochar training was conducted in Moamba in Mozambique from the 19th -31st of July 2023. A total of 125 participants from block I and block II farmers cooperatives attended the training of which 46.4 % were female and 53.6% male.  Researchers and scientists from IIAM and Agrarian Institute of Moamba also attended the training. The training covered different aspects on soil management including soil salinity, plant-soil-nutrient relation, biochar equipment, biochar production and utilization.
