Biochar training in Botswana

A training on biochar production was conducted from 24-26 July 2023 in Kweneng district and attended by farmers, extension officers and researchers. The farmers were from six extension areas in the Molepolole district being; Ditshukudu, Gakuto, Medie, Lentsweletau, Kopong, Kgope and Mahetlwe. The total number of people who attended the training was 165; Male: 69; Female: 96. Participants were trained on the the uses and benefits of biochar.
