CARI hosts RESADE high level stakeholder meeting

The International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), in collaboration with the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), organized a RESADE High-level stakeholder meeting in Buchanan, Liberia, from the 3rd-4th of July 2024.

The International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), in collaboration with the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), organized a RESADE High-level stakeholder meeting in Buchanan, Liberia, from the 3rd-4th of July 2024. The meeting objective was to discuss the project outputs, including policy recommendations and ways of scaling up project interventions, aligning them with ongoing national plans, and inaugurating a Community Seed Bank established by the project. The participants were drawn from relevant ministries, agencies, and entities involved in Liberia’s water use and management. This included The Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance and Planning, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Public Works, National Disaster Management Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, Grand Bassa University, Cooperatives Development Agency, and Farmers Cooperatives, among others.
