As part of the ProMIFA–RESADE collaboration, training on good hygiene practices and the processing of agricultural products was organized for farmers in the prefectures of Ave and Vo. The main objective of the training was to help add value to agricultural products produced in the two districts. This specifically involved farmers’ training on good hygiene practices and making recipes that replaced wheat flour with high-quality flour locally produced under the project. Two agri-food engineers from ITRA provided the training, assisted by three technicians in charge of operations, PIU members, and an ITRA communicator. Local leadership and farmers attended the training.
