Kweneng Best Practice Hub supporting community-based seed multiplications - Botswana

The Kweneng Best Practice Hub continues to strengthen community-based seed multiplication, with cooperative members producing foxtail millet, pearl millet, and cowpea under the guidance of NARDI technical staff. The hub also hosts a Community Seed Bank and a machinery room established by the project, providing farmers with access to diverse seeds and to land-preparation and post-harvest equipment. These resources help improve farming efficiency, support local seed systems, and enhance the overall productivity and resilience of the community.
