TOT Training on Biochar – Mozambique

A TOT training was conducted on the 7th of October 2025 to strengthen the technical and facilitation skills of local practitioners on biochar production and application. A total of 21 facilitators, including 6 women and 15 males, were trained. The trainees were drawn from the National Agricultural Research Institute (IIAM), district and provincial government extension services, non-governmental organizations (SOCODEVI), and the Chókwè Agricultural Technical College.
