TOT - Training on Farmer Field School Approach - Botswana

A Training of Facilitators (ToT) workshop was conducted from the 14 to 18 July 2025 to strengthen local institutional capacity for implementing Farmer Field Schools (FFS) in salinity-affected communities in Letlhakeng District. The workshop brought together 21 participants, comprising researchers and extension officers from the Letlhakeng District Agricultural Office. The participants represented the disciplines of crop production, mechanization, irrigation, agricultural extension, and communications, ensuring multidisciplinary engagement.
