Training of Trainers and Farmer Field Schools in Mozambique

A Training of Trainers workshop was conducted from the 12th to the 17th of July in Maputo Mozambique. A total of 12 participants comprising of researchers and extension services were trained on Farmers Field Schools approach using participatory rapid appraisal PRA techniques. The training was divided into two parts (a) the first set of sessions which was conducted in-doors and (b) the field engagement activities with the farmers at the BPH site. During the first part of the training, important concepts on the farmer field school approach were discussed.
