Water Policy Stakeholder Workshops in Sierra Leone

A workshop was organised in the Home Suites Hotel, Freetown, on 11-12 July 2019 to examine the opportunities, challenges and gaps in water management in Sierra Leone.

The workshop was co-hosted by the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) and the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI).  It was attended by representatives from: The Agencies for Environmental Protection and National Water Resource Management; water service providers Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC) and Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO); WASH-net (NGO co-ordination body); and the University of Sierra Leone.
